More about exactly what to expect on our Qi Gong and Daoist Meditation Retreat
This retreat will focus on body alignments, breathing techniques and the correct mind-set needed to effectively gain the most from your qigong.
Much of the training will be focused on developing the Yi (intent) which is used to guide Qi through the channels to disperse negative Qi or energise different parts of the energy body.
Becoming more sensitive to Qi both within you and around you.
You will learn to feel more connected to earth and heavens Qi, realizing your own individual connection to the universal matrix of nature.
Qigong focuses on bringing into harmony the breath, mind, and body. One of the unique qualities of qigong is its ability to bring about the right state of the psychophysiological being.
You will learn an entire qigong set which will be accompanied by a detailed training manual and DVD.
Places are limited to enable personal and individual teaching and correction.
There will be morning and evening qigong sessions learning the Long Tou Qigong set; consisting of warmups, stretching, opening and lengthening the joints, along with normal and reverse abdominal breathing techniques.

Daoist Meditation (Internal Alchemy)
During the Daoist Meditation sessions, you will learn to activate the Microcosmic orbit (small waterwheel); or yin and yang channels, which begins the process of transforming Qi to Shen and allowing the energy system to revitalize your entire body.
Meditation is the means to open the consciousness allowing us to connect with universal wisdom and receive awakenings and realizations.
The practice of sitting has been developed and refined for thousands of years by Daoist practitioners and is a truly incredible way to maintain your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.
Learning to reveal the self is the goal of all spiritual practices and through Daoist Internal Alchemy you will learn to uncover your full potential in all aspects of your life.
Training manual will be supplied containing all meditation exercises and practice methods.

The nutritional programme for this retreat has been specially prepared by Jayney Goddard M.Sc.
